FOR OVER A QUARTER OF A MILLION. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, Dec. 22. Sir J. W. Pease, member of tbo House of Commons for the Barnard Castle division of Durham, head of a private banking firm of Pease and Partner, of Darlington, have executed a deed of assignment for the benefit of their creditors. There is a quarter of a million of uncovered liabilities, duo to difficulty in realising certain holdings. Friends of the family assist with funds.
