STRIKE OF CRICKETERS.
A WAY OF PUNISHING WORRALL By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, Dec. 62. Trouble is threatened in connection with the remaining inter-State matches, owing to members of the Australian Eleven refusing to play either with or against Worrall. The reason given is that when the Australians were in England Worrall wrote to the umpire, Mr Phillips, urging that if he wished to make a name for himself to no-ball Noble and Saunders on the ground that their deliveries were unfair. The New South Wales and Victorian Associations are considering the position.
