Messrs Common, Shelton and Co. report :—At our wool sale yesterday afternoon there was a good attendance of buyers from Auckland and Napier, in addition to local buyers. There was a decided improvement in competition and prices, as compared with recent sales. Prices realised were : Good fleece 4J d to •7d, medium do. 4d to 4 (<3, pieces and bellies 2d to old, crutchings 2]d to od, well-saved station skins 3(d to 4d, inferior 2;d to 3|d, hides from 3’d to 4”d, tallow per cwt.
