BAND OF GIPSIES
WITHOUT MONEY AND FRIENDS By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, last night. A band of twenty-five persons, who are being referred to as gipsies, and who are apparently of Hungarian birth, have arrived here from Australia to catch (he boat for Monte Video. They are very poorly clad, and are camped in a number of miserable tents on the Hutt road. It appears that they were recently travelling about Australia in caravans, and since their arrival here they seem to live on what their children can obtain from credulous passe-rs-'oy, through fortunctelling.
