Tho Coronor’s jury returuod a verdict of manslaughter against Alexander Johnstono, husband of tbo woman who placod her trust in faith-healers. Tho jury took tho view thut tho husbaud should havo insistod upon tuodical attondauco. Tho Corouor, in addressing tho jury, pointed out how good, simplo and well-moaning persons hud been led away by thoir teaching from tho lino of conduct othor people would havo followed. This poor woman, led away by theso doctrines, had sacrificed her life, lio hoped that tho teuots would not spread through tho community, for they wero not only dcpiornblo, but dangerous and cruel. When tho verdict was announced Johnstone foil iu a somifainting condition.
