Six candidates wore nominated to day for tho Western Maori electorate, including Homari Kahu (tho sitting inomber), of Waikato ; Eruora Kahu, of Turakina ; Katitia, of Patca ; Weraroa Kingi, of Wanganui; Teehi, of Ractihi; and Tukino, of Tokaanu. Tho election will bo held on Dccotnbor 22. Wellington, last night. Tho candidates nominated for tho Bay of Islands for tho Native electorate are: Hone Heko, Hamiora Mangakahia, Hapetn Honare, Eru Aliaka, and Kipa Whatanui. Tho show of hands was greatly in favor of Hone Heko.
