BARMAIDS AS MAGNETS
WANGANUI LADIES PROTEST.
(By Telegraph—Press Association,
Wanganui, last night. At a meeting of tho Women’s Christian Temperance Union to-day the following resolution was passed : “ That this meeting protests against the employment of women as barmaids, and urges tho Government to legislate) in the direction of their abolition.”
