There is more in the arrest of Harrison and Packman than would at first appear from the simple charge of keeping a gaming house, etc. Detectives McGrath, Broberg, Boddam, and Cameron, raided an office in. the New Zealand Consolidated Dental Buildings, on tho corner of Mercer and Cuba streets, opposito the Central Fire Brigade Station, this office being the gaming house or premises referred to in tho charge. It was rented by tho " Tasmanian parcels express delivery company,” and circulars found on tho premises state that “ small parcels can bo sent or left with us for despatch by express delivery to Tasmania, booking fee nj."
