PAY FOR TROOPERS, By, .Telegraph—Press Association— WELLINGTON, last night. The Defence Department has now almost completed a monetary settlement with all soldiers who served in New Zealand regiments. The only payments still pending are those of the men who had the misfortune to be drafted on generally as invalids, in small details, to dmerent bases. As they were away from their regiments, there has been consideranle diliicuity in getting their papers. However, the last oi the papers, as well as the men, are now on the water, and in the course of a week or two the accounts will be lmally settled. THE BARQUENTINE MAY e
