Tho Boer Generals were frantically ap p auded as they passed through the streets ol Paris. Some hostility was exhibited by the crowds towards Great Britain. Responding to tile welcome from the president of the committee for tile Boer Independence, General Botha, while post polling his appeals lor charity, delivered a political speech. He referred to the splendid reception that the French gave our venerable president, and reiterated the usual professions of contingent loyalty. He declared that tho Boers deserved early autonomy, and he hoped that France would help to provent the Boers being dragged through the mud.
