BIBLE IN SCHOOLS. By telegraph—Press Association— Dunedin, last night. The plebiscite on the Bible in schools is not complete yet, but the committee in charge is well satisfied with the voting so far. The papers to hand were checked to day, the figures showing: Y'es, 5943 ; no, 731; New South Wales system, 94; refused to vote, 254 ; inlormal, 41. The districts are Dunedin, Caversham, Port Chalmers, Taieri, and Waikouaiti. FOUND DROWNED. At the inquest on Sarah Ann Pemberton, whose body was found in the harbor on Wednesday, no evidence was forthcoming as to how deceased had got into the water. She had been suffering from influenza of late, A verdict of found drowned was returned.
