IMPOSTORS IN LONDON.
HEAVY FINES.
(By Telegraph—Press Association,) Wellington, last night. A cablegram received from the AgentGeneral by Sir Joseph Ward sots out that by Mr Reeves’ direction an English butcher had been prosecuted and heavily fined for having sold River Plato mutton as New Zealand. An important admission was mado by tho defendant that 99 out of 100 butchers call all frozen mutton New Zealand.
