TRUNK RAILWAY,
By Telegraph—Press AssociationAuckland, last night. At a meeting held to-night under the auspices of the North Island Main Trunk Railway League, addresses were given by several Auckland members, promising to do their utmost to push the completion of the North Island Trunk line. An opinion was expressed in favor of raising a special loan for the work on the security of lands purchased out of the previous loan for the construction of the line.
