At the Supromo Court James Grey and Frank Skolton wore found guilty of robbery and violence, sentence being deferred. The hearing of a charge of assault against Frank Halligan, oxprossman, was not concluded.

At a meeting of tho Dunedin members of the Provisional Council of the National Horticultural Society of Now Zealand, Mr A. Bathgate submitted a draft constitution lie had drawn up, explaining that ho had made it as elastic as possible, as tho headquarters might bo peripatetic and tho members of the Council scattered all over the colony. It was resolved to send copies of the constitution to members of the Provincial Committee in other centres to elicit their views beforo the 14th June.
