CORONATION CEREMONIES.

At a meeting of the Coronation Committee to-day a proposal for entertaining the children was abandoned, but each child will be presented with a commemoration card. The piogramme will now be : Church services in the morning, a military display in the afternoon, and illuminations at night. NAPIER’S PROGRAMME. [By Telegraph—Press Association.) Napier, last night. A public meeting was held to-night to consider what steps should be taken to commemorate the Coronation of the King. A committee wa3 formed, and it was suggested that the celebrations should commence with a united service on the Marine Parade, to be followed by a military spectacle, and a procession with various tableaux. In the afternoon a sport’s meeting to be ' heid on the Recreation Ground, and in the evening a torchlight procession and fireworks display ; the citizens will be asked to illuminate tbeir business places and houses, and fires will be lighted on the hills, and a display made by vessels in the harbor. On the Friday evening a grand citizens’ ball will bo held,
