DeWet admits that the struggle is hopeless, and that the British terms are reasonable and generous. Some meetings of the Boers were noisy.
Irreconcilable minorities are very heated, the disputes almost resulting in violence, consequently the leaders insist on voting by ballot. It is reported that Delarey and the members of the Transvaal Government will adhere to the decision of tiie majority.
The women of the Transvaal are clamoring for peace.
