ST. PETERSBURG, April IS. Bolscliarietk, a Kief University student, wiio was punished for riothig last year, drove in a carriage in ihe disguise of an officer, and then obta.ted admission to the Imperial Coun.il of Ministers- and officers at St. Peters burg. When M. Sipirguine, Minister of the Interior, arrived, Bolschanett handed him a document purporting to come from Duke Serguis. Simultaneous with the handing of the document, Bolschanett fired six shots from a revolver.
The shots mortally wounded Sip>'guine and his servant.
M. Sipirguine died an hour after iie was wounded. Tbe assassin was arrested. The assassin declared as a reason for the deed that he bad vowed vengeance for the treatment that- iie had received at Kieff.
