SCARLET FEVER IN AUCKLAND.
A SCHOOL CLOSED.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, last night. Acting on the recommendation of the District Health Officer, the Education Board has decided to close the Newton West school for a time, owing to several cases of scarlet fever among the pupils. No serious increase of the disease is expected.
