METHUEN’S REPORT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, April 13. Lord Methuen, in his report on the reverse at Twecbosch on March 7th. states that the day prior to the engagement, during sniping, the 86th Company of Imperial Yeomanry, who were in the rear, got out of hand. The Company was without discipline, and their officers and non-commissioned officers were uninstructed and inexperienced. Thereupon, he placed the Yeomanry in the van, On the 7tb, a rout began among the Afrikander levies, who formed the rear screen of the convoy. Fourteen men of the Leinster Regiment were wounded in an action near Bethlehem last Tuesday. The trial of Judge Ivoek has commenced at Graafreinet. He is eliuiged with spying and fraudulently obtaining military permits to travel.

RETURNING NEW ZEALANDERS. By Telegraph—-. Press Association. Wellington, last night. Advice has been received from Capetown that Surgeon - Captains Fenwick (Dunedin) and Gabites (Timaru), Nursing Sisters Littcott and Eagle, Corpl. Porter (Gisborne), Privates Lukis, Merry, McNiven, Denny, McDonald, Mason, Quelch, and also 38 men who were left behind by the Cornwall, sailed by the Columbia. Private Andrews (Timaru), and Horning (Wellington) are both convalescent.

Bremner; veterinary surgeon, Captain J. R. Neil; squadron officers —squadron captain, F. M. B. Fisher (commanding); lieutenants, G. C. Derrett, E. J. Clough, T. C. Hill; F Squadron—Lieutenants, T. G. Mailing (commanding), A. C. Corfe, M. A. Powrie, W. S. Hickson; G. Squadron—Lieutenants, P. A. Keddell (commanding), S. L. Jones, H. R. S. Corlett, F. J. Walmsley ; H Squadron—Captain, W. S. Pennycock (commanding), lieutenants, J. F. Butler, E. C. Robbie, F. J. Glasson, and J. W. Garland. Lieutenant W. A. Craig is in command of details for the Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth Contingents. Owing to wet weather, each man has had a pair of boots and two blankets issued to him. The first mounted parade was held on Saturday.
