Tiie Government hold an enquiry into the cause of the football disaster. Three hundred arid twenty-five were injured. The King expressed his grief and sympathy with the bereaved, and inquired after the condition of the injured. HOUSE OF CODIDIONS.
The House of Commons adopted the rule to sit on Fridays at noon until 6 p.m. An amendment to take private members’ Bills on Thursdays and Government business on Fridays was negatived by 174 to 145. MURDERS BY OUTLAWS.
Outlaws on the Mahand border waylaid and killed e gilt Sepoys. The Mahands repudiate the crime, and are anxious to arrest the authors.
BULGARIAN ASSASSINS. Four Bulgarians killed and mutilate ed some Mussulman peasants and a boy at Kirkilise, .with a view to provoking reprisals. CHINESE ATTACK RUSSIANS, Six hundred Chunchuses attacked a Russian post at Liaho, Manchuria,and were repulsed with twenty killed. The Russian casualties were seven.,
