FATAL GUN ACCIDENT.

A YOUTH SHOT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Wakapuaka, last night. A distressing gun aocident happened here this afternoon. A youth named Victor Honey, sixteen years of age, who for some weeks past has been on a visit to the station from Adelaide, South Australia, was found dead on a bridge a couple of hundred yards from the cable office. He had gone out shooting with a small rifle charged with shot, and in jumping from the bank whioh skirts the bridge the weapon must have gone off, the charge lodging in his neck, death apparently being instantaneous. Honey was a bright, popular lad, and his tragic end cast a deep gloom over the little settlement. The Nelson police have boon communicated with, and an inquest will be held to-morrow.
