A Trooper’s Death.

[By Telegraph—Press Association). Auckland, last night. The body of the late Trooper Percy Charles Laery, of the Ninth Contingent, who died at the hospital from dysentery on Saturday morning, was conveyed to Onehunga this afternoon, for removal to nis late home at Waituna West; at the wish of his sister, Mrs Humphreys. The oody left the hospital at one o’clock, and was conveyed to OnehuDga Presbyterian Church, where an armed party of twelve men and a sergeant from “ H ” Squadron, to which deceased belonged, joined in and escorted the body to the wharf, where it was placed on board the s.s. Takapuna for removal to Wellington.
