THE NEW DREDGE.

On Saturday afteroon the Chairman of the Harbor Board received a telegram from Mr Anderson, the contractor for the new dredge, saying that he would be here cn Monday by the Karamea. The Chairman has called a committee meeting of the whole Board for Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock to meet Mr Audersou, when matters in connection with the dredge will be fully discussed. The trial of the dredge by Captain Benny was finished on Saturday. We understand that the steering capabilities of the vessel are still in question to soma extent.
