At the Loan and Mercantile Agency Company’s second sheep fair 5350 sheep were disposed of. There was poor competition except for young ewes. Wethers brought 7s 3d to 9s 9d, ewes 2s to 10s, lambs Is 6d to ss. At Ohaupo 1500 * sheep were yarded, a drop o£ Is to Is 6d 'being experienced. Ewes brought 3s to 8s Id, lambs 3s 4d to 8s 6d, wethers 6s Id to 9s 6d, rams £1 Is to £3 3s.
