The total reported casualties in the Yondouop convoy were five olliueis and 45 men killed, six officers and 120 wounded, ten officers and 303 missing. There are no details of the disaster. The Daily Mail states Do Wet and Steyn encamped during the attack on the Seventh New Zealanders. Lord Kitchener directed the final movements of the drive. YONDONORP S CONVOY. LIST OF CASUALTIES. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright London, March 3. Tho casualties to Yomlonorp’s convoy were distributed as folio,vs : Ten Northumberland Fusiliers were killed, and 59 wounded. Two of tho Fifth Battalion of Imperial Yeomanry were killed, and thirteen wounded. Eighteen of the Third Buitalion of South Staffords were killed and five wounded. Other Yeomanry forces lost fifteen killed and thirty-seven wounded.
In addition to these ten officers and three hundred and two men are missing. Pang’s column captured eighteen Boers at Middleburg, and twenty-three surrendered.
