Seventy-ono Ministerial and lay delegates to the Methodist Conference, which meets to-morrow, arrived by train from North to-night. The Presidential address will be delivered to morrow evening. DEATH OF PIONEER. Mr J. C. Smith, of Ettrick, an old goldfields pioneer, who was thrown out of a cart a fortnight ago, died last night from the injuries.
