THE WOOL SALES.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchuroh, last night. At the wool sales to-day 7247 bales were offered, of which 6608 were sold. As compared with January sales the prices were good. Station Merinos were about Id lower, and ordinary farmers’ Merinos Id to fd lower. Good bright parcels of nalf-bred maintained their price, and in some cases improved by Jd. Medium and inferior lots sold irregularly. Crossbreds were in rather better demand, and rose from par to Id ; coarse and inferior lots about maintained January rates.
