A REQUISITION. By Telegraph —Press Association. Christchurch, last night. In reply to a requisition from the Woolston and New Brighton portions of the Avon electorate, Mr A. Loughrey, who at one time represented Linwood in Parliament, is likely to oppose Mr Tanner at the General Election. ROAD BOARDS’ ASSOCIATION. Delegates will meet on March sth to form a Road Boards’ Association in the Selwyn County. DIVORCE COURT. At the Supreme Court to-day decrees nisi were granted in divorce in the cases of Charles Hanington v. Sarah Hanington, and Henry Simmons v. Harriett May, Florence Perrott v. Arthur Ernest Perrott, and Michael Slater v. Annie Sutoliffe Slater, on the of misconduct and desertion. A MISSING SHAREBROKER. Up to the present no trace has been found of the missing sharebroker, Dugald Paterson.
