Sydney before iiis return to the colony to j investigate the causes of the plague outbreak and the conditions under which it is being combatted, and to watch the disease in its different phases. Although it is hoped the information may never be wanted for use in this colony, it is considered advisable to be cautious and prepared for any emergency.
