GRAND POPULAR CONCERT.

There should be a crowded attendance at the Theatre Royal this evening for the grand popular concert given by Chieftain Rangiuia. A capital programme has been prepared, items being contributed by our leading local vocalists, as well as by Miss Lorraine Tanslev and Chieftain Rangiuia. Miss Tausley will sing “ Douglas Gordon ” and “ Why must we say GoodBye,” and with Chieftain Rangiuia, the duet, “ Hark to the Mandoline.” Chieftain Rangiuia will also sing, by special request, “ Home, Sweet Home ” (in Maori) and “ The Last Milestone,” as well as the duet, “ Tral-Lie-Lie Lie,” with Harata Rangiuia. Mr W. -J. Barlow will sing 11 On Deck.” Other items on the programme are 11 The Old Countrec,” by Miss Rauhina Te Ngaru Tai ; song, “ Once,” by Miss Heany, and “ Husheen," by Miss O’Connor. A graceful Poi dance will be executed by a number of Maori maidens. Miss Frances Butt will contribute a pianoforte solo, and also act as accompanist. - Seats may be reserved at Cbrisp and Son’s Music Warehouse.
