NOXIOUS WEEDS.
CALIFORNIAN THISTLE IN HAAVKE’S BAY.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AVellington, last night.
As some farmers in Hawke’s Biay were rather loth to believe that they had Californian thistle in their midst, the Stock Inspector at Hastings forwarded some specimens to Wellington for identification. The Government Biologist says it is absolutely beyond doubt that they are specimens of the Californian thistle.
