SYDNEY, Jan. 23. 1 he Bishop of Melanesia has-arrived 1,1 Sydney from a trip round his extensive Islands Diocese. He visited all school stations. Everything connected WHO the mission is going well, He broke new ground in the Island of likopia, where he left two teachers. J ile ‘slanders are Polynesians, all of fine physique, wearing their hair down their waist. The tallest seen was six feet seven inches. On the return journey the Bishop found the Island suffering from famine, and numbers dying. He was compelled to remove the teachers. He gave what relief was possible. After a short stay Bishop Wilson proceeds to England to buy a new mission gessel.
