Bin, —As a traveller in Now Zealand, seeking tojsnow the manners and customs of the peoplt here, it has come to my knowledge that a certain influential resident of Gisborne, who, it appears, has been livingjainongst a circle of good, kind friends, and has consequently incurred more liabilities than ho cares to liquidate, is receiving tho aid of his adviser and , intimate friends, who are going tho rounds of tho town, getting his creditors to sign a clear discharge of his debts.
