DELIBERATE SUICIDE.
A MAX STRANGLES HIMSELF
[By Telegraph—Tress Association.] Invercargill, last night.
The body of T. J. Stott, printer, was found hanging in a cellar at Hallonstoin’s Building, Esk street, this afternoon. Stott, who worked on the top flat, had been complaining of his head for some days, and was last seen alivo in the oilice about son the previous evening. He had been for five years hero, and is said to have boen foreman in a Goolong printing offico. Ho was a man of strong temperance and religious convictions, and his demeanour in the Debating Society of the church he attended had often been remarked on as decidedly peculiar. He[had used a strap to stranglo himself, and his feet were squarely on the floor.
