WESLEYAN SYNOD.

[By Telegraph—Press Association.] Christchurch, last night. At the Wesleyan Synod to-day, a resolution was passed unanimously in favor of retaining the office and duties as at present existing of the Connexional Secretary. The Synod passed a resolution regretting the transfer of Dr Morley to Australia, and making it imperative that at the end of any connexional year, Dr Morley may have the right of returning to Now Zealand.
