(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Wellington, last night. Continuing the argument in the flour milling case in the Court oi Appeal, e&unsel for the defendant company submitted that the agreement was contrary to public Policy, because oi its tendency to limit the output, enhance the price, and prevent an improvement- in the quality of flour. As to the power of tho company to take up shares in the Association, propositions were submitted to bar this, chiefly on the ground that the company piutild not part with the control of its own business or limit itseif in any way; also that the directors had no power to conclude such a transaction, which was out of the usual course.. Latkh.-— Judgment has been reserved: in the flour milling case by the Court of Appeal.
