(By Telegraph—Press Association.) ’Wellington, last night. The Council met at 2.U0 p.m. The Maori Antiquities Bill was read a second time.
The lioyal Visit Expenses Bill passed the final stages. The Money-lenders Bill and Trustee Amendment Bill passed through Committee.
Rouse of Representatives
The House met at 2.110 p.m.
Mr Hull-.!ones moved the second reading of tho Fisheries Encouragement Bill, which extends tho period during which a bonus will be paid for canned and cured fish, but provides that the bonus shall cease altogether after the olst August, 1995. The second reading was agreed to on the voices. Tho Cornwall Park Duties Exemption Bill passed through Committee without amendment, and the Education Boards Election Bill was read a second time. The House rose at 5.80. EVENING HITTING.
The House resumed at 7.80. The Cornwall Park Duties Exemption Bill passed the final stages. Mr Ward said ho would move the mail resolutions on Wednesday. Tho Opium Prohibition Bill, Charitable Institutions Bating Bill, Egmont National Park Bill, and Evidence Further Amendment Bill passed through Committeo without material amendment.
