TRAINING NOTES. (By Telegraph—l’rcss Association.) Napier, last night. The track at Hastings is now looking in the best possible condition, anil if the present line weather holds out it should bo in perfect condition for racing on Saturday and Jfonday. Although practically an oil' morning, there was a good muster on jthe course to-day. Tigress galloped once round in a taking manner. Stepdaughter and Northumberland had half a mile flutter on the course proper, the firstnamed having the best of a really good trial. Menschikoir was sent once round at half pace, and was then extended over six furlongs, moving very freely. Torowai and Warwick had a bout over six furlongs, the former having the advantage. Nonetto got over half a mile in a pleasing manner. Okoari, Battlcaso, and Dartmoor, who arrived last night, were restricted to halfpace work.
