BURGLARS AT WORK.
(By Tolograph—Tress Association.) Dunedin, last night. A dynamite burglary has occurred at tho Milburne Lime and Cement Compuny’s works. It was carried out on similar lines to those at Herbert Haynes and Company’s promises some time ago. A storeman, on passing the promises on Sunday morning, noticed a door open, and discovered that a robbery had been committed and tho safo burst open by a charge of dynamite. In order to deadon the noise of tho explosion, the burglars used a quantity of paper, a door mat, and invoices. They got about Til in money. The burglars wero evidently disturbed, as thoy left a charge in another safo unfired, and their tools were scattered about the premises. The offices of the firm of Messrs Morrow and Bassett wero also entored on Saturday, hut tho burglars left hurriedly, only taking a bicycle.
