AUCKLAND NEWS.
[By Telegraph—Press Association.] Auckland, last night. At the inquest on Arthur Dompsey, licensee of the Archhill Hotel, a verdict of suicide while mentally unsound was returned.
Tho Board of Education carried unanimously a resolution in favor of a uniform scries of class books for tho whole colony.
Peter Sinclair, aged GO, was killed by a fall of earth at Poro-o-tarao railway works.
