OFFICES EXCLUDED FROM BILL BY THREE VOTES.

Wellington, last night. In tho Legislative Council, in committee on tho Shops and Offices Bill, the reference to “ office ” in the interpretation clause, was struck out by 10 votes to 18, offices being thus excluded from tho provisions of tho Bill.
