The installation of officers of the Star of Gisborne Lodge took place on Thursday evening, at the Masonic Hall, Childers road.

The following officers were installed and invested by the Acting-Grand Lodge officers: Noble Grand, Bro J. H. Colebourne ; Vico-Grand, Bro. A. Ramage; Secretary, Bro. Bobt. Robb : Treasurer and Chaplain, Bro. J- Peekover. The appointed officers are : 11. J. Bendlc. Warden ; W. Elmsley, Conductor ; F. Corbett, R.S. to N.G.; W. Graham, L.S. to N.G.; Bro. Williams, ILS.S.; Bro. East, L.S.S

Bro. A. G. Wheeler, Past Grand, acted as Installing Master, ably assisted by: Past Grand Bro. John Dobbie, Acting Grand Warden ; Bro. Bendle, Acting Grand Secretary and Treasurer ; Bro. Elmsley, Acting Grand Marshal. The Installing Master, in a short address. congratulated the Lodge on its choice of officers, and on its increasing membership, and urged the brethren to make an effort to largely increase the number, so as to be able to send two representatives to the next Grand Lodgo session, to be held in Auckland in March, 1903.

The Lodgo will hold a meeting on Tuesday next for conferring degrees on all wishing to attain the same.
