Slit,— If by accident a tailor's assistant pricks his finger while making a pair of trousers, and a little of the dye from the material lie is making up gets into the puncture, causing him (the assistant) to have a had linger, and to he thereby unable to pursue his avocation, is the employer under “ The Compensation to Workmen’s Act ” liable to pay him his wages, or any part thereof, during his incapacity to work '?—l am, etc., Not A Tailor, But One Wuo Wants To Know. [lt would depend on the Magistrate's definition of the meaning of the word “ hazardous ” : but the probability is that the employer would ho liable.—Ed. Times.]
