MANY PEOPLE KILLED. PEOPLE STONE THE TROOPS. HUNDREDS OF ARRESTS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright St. Petersburg, May 24. Serious riots have broken out at Vaborg, a quarter of St Petersburg. During the course of tho riots twenty workmen were injured, aud lumdrods of arrests were made.

The police fared badly in tho fighting that took place. Six police were killed, including an officer. The workmen employed at the Obonskoff naval arsenal when refused, a limit of eight hours for a day’s work, aud also refused higher wages, broko out into rioting. They stoned the troops, killing several. Numerous arrests were made by the police. Many rioters wore killed, and a groat many injured.
