During the week ended to-day reports have been received from 38 dredges,’ the total yield being 7640 z Odwt 18gr, or an average of 20oz per dredge, which is the lowest average for over two years. . Additional returns are : Empire 660 z 14dwt, Earnscieugh 11. 40oz 15dwt, Upper Waipori 240 z. Sdv.t, Reliance 21oz lOdwt, Evans’ Flat lOoz 17dwt; Gabriel 16oz 17dwt 3gr, Waimamu Queen 12oz, Nelson Creek (West Coast) 220 z.
