Third Jury Disagree.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, last night. The third trial of Edward Pierard, on a charge of iudeecntly assaulting a girl under the age of sixteen, was proceeded with at the Supreme Court to-day. After six hours’ retirement the jury to-night announced that, like two previous juries, they were hopelessly divided. The prisoner was remanded on bail until Wednesday.
