ARBITRATION COURT.

By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, last night. At tho Arbitration Court to-day Mr Justice Cooper again referred to the necessity for legal knowledge on port of chairmen of tho Conciliation Boards, and repeated the statement that it was desirable to have lawyers as chairmen. It was, he safii, very desirable that chairmen should have commercial kuowledge, but if they had legal knowledge as well matters would be much simplified. The hearing of the dispute in the boot trade was continued in the Arbitration Court to-day. After some evidence with regard to clickers had been taken, the Court adjourned in order that one of the local factories might be inspected.
