hon. j. Mckenzie. [By Telegraph—Press Association.] Dunedin, last night. The Hon. J. G. Ward stayed at the Hon. J. McKenzie’s place on his way’ down, ,and will not reach Dunedin till tomorrow. He found his old colleague greatly improved in health and spirits; so much so that he would not be surprised to see him on the warpath again. THE ROYAL VISIT. A letter was received by the Mayor from the Governor to-day, suggesting a route for the Yorks, namely, from the railway station by way of Stuart street to Femhill Club. As this is evidently intended fbr the day of the arrival of the Royal party,'the May’or will wait on the Governor qn arrival, and submit the proposed route fqr the procession on tho day following. To avoid going through the same streets it is now suggested that the party drive round the Queen’s drive in the town belt, and enter the city at Pitt street, above Knox Church, the route in the city being from that point to Femhill Club, with a stoppage at the Town Hall for the presentation of an address,
