MANAGER AND HIS WIFE DISMISSED. Per Press Association —Copyright. Auckland, last night. The Hospital and Charitable Aid Board resolved to-day to give Mr Moss, Manager of tho Costloy Home, and his wife, throe mouths’ uotico of dismissal. This is tho result of certain charges mado against Mr and Mrs Moss, which wero investigated in private. They were asked to resign, and claimod a public enquiry, but llio Board refused this, holding there was no courso open to them but to givo notice of dismissal. Tho institution is tho homo for aged poor.
