A PLEASANT TIME.

New Plymouth, last night. His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Captain Alexander, A.D.C., reached here from Te Kuiti at one o’clock to-day. The party went up the Mokau river in a launch. They spent Sunday at Mrs -Haleombe’s, Urenui, and drove on here this morning. His Excellency was charmed with the country. Ho had an enjoyable drive and fine weather, with the exception of one day. The party proceed by train to Hawera to-morrow morning, returning here on Thursday. Then the°y drive round the mountain by way of Opunake. They spend Sunday 'in Hawera, and then.take train to Wellington, returning to Hawcva after Easter.
